10.         Ordering Procedure

(i)     All orders by a Customer who is a Chicken Meat RICL Member require two business days notice prior to the required day of delivery, i.e. order on a Wednesday for a Friday delivery applies. All order by a Customer who is a Non-Chicken Mean RICL Member require four business days’ notice prior to deliver, i.e. order on Monday for a Friday delivery applies.

(ii)     Orders should be made during normal business hours (9.00am to 5.00pm inclusive) to ensure delivery within the applicable business day window per Condition 10(i).

(iii)    Orders received after 5.00pm will be considered as being ordered on the following day, i.e. order placed at 9.00pm on a Wednesday will be considered as a Thursday order.

(iv)     Peak Period (1st April to 30th October inclusive). Deliveries may be made 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday)

(v)      Summer Period (1st November to 31st March inclusive). Orders for delivery on a Saturday should be avoided, as deliveries may not be available on weekends. In the event a delivery is required on a Saturday, direct contact with Elgas will be required to confirm availability of supply.


11.         Call-Out Fee

(i)      A callout fee may only be incurred if the Customer demands a delivery outside the normal procedure as above.

(ii)      No callout fee will be charged on the first breach of the ordering procedure however the breach will be explained by Elgas and recorded on the Customer’s account.

(iii)     Any subsequent breaches may be charged the agreed call out fee of $250.00.

(iv)     Customer will be allowed one breach of the ordering procedure per year (annually from the anniversary of the Agreement Commencement Date).

All orders placed online are for delivery to capacity of customer’s installation (i.e. full fill)
