Can everyone have EasyGas?
In order to comply with and exceed industry safety regulations, there are a number of conditions that must be met to receive EasyGas service. These include the location of cylinders at your home, line of sight to the truck, street access and safe parking conditions. Elgas will never compromise the safety of its customers, staff and the communities they live in. For those homes that do not meet the conditions, we have our Exchange Service.
Exchange Service
Elgas delivers filled cylinders to your home to replace the empty ones. We provide you with two 45kg bottles linked together by a changeover valve, so that you have an uninterrupted supply. Simply call us when one of the tanks is empty and we will be there with another full one.

Metered Reticulated LPG Supply (Limited Areas)
As part of the Elgas commitment to providing safe and quality LP gas to residential, commercial and industrial customers, Elgas also provides metered reticulated LPG service in certain areas. New or existing users in these areas can obtain further information on this service by contacting the local Elgas branch on 131 161.
EasyGas DownUnderTM
Exclusive to ELGAS, EasyGas DownUnder stores your entire household LPG supply safely underground. It is discreetly hidden under your garden or lawn. As EasyGas DownUnder is an EasyGas service, your gas usage will be monitored by ELGAS. Refills will be scheduled for you, so you never have to worry about your home’s gas supply again.

How EasyGas DownUnder works
An Underground Cylinder A special canister is installed below the ground. This canister houses the 90kg LPG cylinder, which is specifically designed for in-ground installations. One 90kg cylinder is suitable for most household applications including cooking, heating and hot water. Located in your garden, the underground cylinder is installed as close as practical to the front boundary of the property. This ensures your installation is discreet and allows for easy LPG top ups from our ELGAS tankers. The cylinder is protected by a fire resistant lid which sits flush with your lawn or garden surrounds.
Connected to your house
Your cylinder is safely connected to your home via pipe work installed by a licensed tradesman, similar to your other household services. Refills are made via tanker delivery.
